Michael Wright is an American actor best known for his roles in the films The Five Heartbeats (1991), Streamers (1983) for which he won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor, and Sugar Hill (1994), and for his television roles Elias Taylor in V: The Series (1984–1985), Omar White in Oz (2001–2003), and Lazarus Prime in Black Lightning (2019).
